A steady stream of people flowed through the parking lot and inside the building during last Saturday’s Christmas open-house event at the Anderson County Farmers Co-op on South Charles G. Seivers Boulevard in Clinton.

The co-op had Christmas decorations and holiday merchandise on display inside and outside the store, with special prices on holiday items.

Children were treated to a visit by Santa Claus, and given the chance to tell him what they wanted for Christmas.

Refreshments were available inside the store, which was decorated with several well-lighted Christmas trees and other trappings of the season.

Staff estimated that hundreds of people turned out for the event, which was one of the earliest of its kind for the 2025 holiday season.
