Library Events compiled by Ben Pounds
The following events will be this month at the Clinton Public Library at 118 South Hicks St.
Children’s events
• Family Storytime will be Wednesdays at 10 a.m. with weekly themed stories, songs and a matching craft for pre-kindergarten through early elementary ages. Younger and older siblings are also welcome. Dec. 10’s theme is llamas. Dec. 17’s theme is Christmas. There will be no program on Dec. 24. Dec. 31’s theme is New Years.
• Book Babies is Thursdays at 10 a.m. with weekly themed stories and songs for ages birth to two. Dec. 11’s theme is llamas, and Dec. 18’s theme is Christmas.
• Music and Movement is on Tuesdays at 10 a.m. Join to dance and make some noise.
All ages
• Lego Club will be Thursdays at 4 p.m. Join to build with Legos which the library will provide for free.
• United Way Mobile Office will be from 9 a.m. until noon on Thursday, Dec. 11. Representatives from United Way will be at a table in the library to assist community members.
Teens
Teen Space will be on Wednesdays at 2:15 p.m. Come hang out with friends, play Nintendo Wii games, eat snacks and have a good time.
Adults
Adult Crafty Friday will be at 5:30 p.m. on Dec. 12. The craft will involve making 3D snowflakes out of recycled cardboard tubes.
Tai-Chi for Arthritis and Balance is on Monday at 9 a.m. with UT Agriculture Extension instructors.
Clinch River Needleworkers will be on Tuesdays at 1 p.m. and Saturdays at 10 a.m. It’s a time and space for crocheting, tatting and knitting and is open to new members.
Tennessee History Program will be Mondays at 10 a.m. Join as the program moves county by county through local Tennessee history.
