Clinton Police Department Incident Reports

The following occurred

during the period from Jan. 11-30.



• Jan. 13 — a Clinton man reported a burglary from a motor vehicle on Baxter Avenue. The case remains active.

• Jan. 14 — Police responded to a vandalism and assault call at a Frank’s Mobile Home Park address. The incident was cleared by arrest.

• Jan. 15 — A South Clinton business near the 500 block of Clinch Avenue reported theft of property. No suspects were named. The case remains active.

• Jan. 16 — A West Broad Street resident reported a fraud and scam involving theft of property by false pretenses. A subject has been named and the investigation is active.

• Jan. 17 — Police investigated a motor vehicle theft reported at a residence on Forrest Avenue. The case remains active.

• Jan. 18 — Officers responded to a call on Fowler Street that resulted in an arrest for violation of an order of protection.

• Jan. 18 — A theft of property involving a stolen or lost firearm was reported at a Woodmont Circle residence. The case remains active.

• Jan. 20 — Police investigated a forged or counterfeit check at a North Charles G. Seivers Boulevard financial institution. The case was closed.

• Jan. 20 — Theft of property was reported to the Clinton Police Department at a 100-block North Charles G. Seivers Boulevard residence. The investigation remains active.

• Jan. 20 — Officers responded to a fraud and theft complaint by a Riverbend Road resident. The case was closed.

• Jan. 20 — Police responded to a shoplifting-in-progress at a discount store in the 300 block of South Charles G. Seivers Boulevard. A suspect was arrested and the case is closed.

• Jan. 21 — A shoplifting and criminal trespass incident was reported from a discount department store on Tanner Lane. The case was closed.

• Jan. 23 — Police investigated a fraudulent use/illegal possession of a credit or ATM card reported at a Fowler Lane address. The case remains active.

• Jan. 24 — Officers recovered a vehicle on North Charles G. Seivers Boulevard related to a warrant and motor vehicle theft from another jurisdiction. The case was cleared by arrest.

• Jan. 24 — Police were dispatched to investigate a shoplifting and criminal trespass incident at a discount department store on Tanner Lane. The incident was cleared by arrest.
