New exhibit explores 250 years of U.S. communications
The American Museum of Science and Energy will hold a grand opening and ribbon cutting for its new exhibit, “Information Nation: 250 Years of American Communications,” on Friday, Feb. 27, from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m.
The event will include complimentary snacks and drinks. The museum is at 115 East Main Street in Oak Ridge.
“Join us for the official opening of our newest temporary official exhibit examining the evolution of information and communication technologies and their transformative impact on society,” an announcement from the museum stated.
The project got funding from the Tennessee Commission for the United States Sesquicentennial.
