Clinton Library Events compiled by Ben Pounds

The following events will be at the Clinton Public Library, 118 S. Hicks St.



All Ages

Computer Class will be at noon on Friday, March 13, discussing word processor programs like Microsoft Word and Google Docs.

• Lego Club will be at 4 p.m. on Thursdays. Join for a free build with Legos provided.

• Board Game Club will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 14. Join for casual biology themed games.



Children

Family Storytime will be on Wednesdays at 10 a.m. with stories, songs and a matching craft to fit a theme for pre-K through early elementary ages. Younger and older siblings are welcome, too. The themes will be colors on March 4, pets on March 11, butterflies on March 18 and spring on March 25.

• Book Babies will be on Thursdays at 10 a.m. featuring weekly themed stories and songs for ages birth to 2. The themes will be colors on March 5, pets on March 12, butterflies on March 19 and spring on March 26.

• Music and Movement will be on Tuesdays at 10 a.m. Join to dance and make some noise.

• Pajama Storytime will be at 6 p.m. on Friday, March 6. Come in pajamas for a story before bedtime.

Teens

Teen Space will be on Wednesdays at 2:15 p.m. Come hang out with friends, play Nintendo Wii games, eat snacks and socialize.



Adults

Adult Book Club will be on Saturday, March 7, at 1:30 p.m.

Adults may come to discuss books they choose, fitting a theme. This month’s theme will be “Unreliable Narrators.”

April’s theme will be “Too Funny.”

• Building Happy Families with Mark Hicks will be at 5:30 p.m. Friday, March 13. This event teaches practical, science-backed tools that deepen trust, reduce conflict and create a more peaceful home.

• Adult Crafty Fridays will be at 5:30 p.m., March 20. Come to make multimedia collages out of potato chips.

• Clinch River Needleworkers will meet on Tuesdays at 1 p.m. and Saturdays at 10 a.m.

The event provides space for working on textile projects, and is open to new members.

• The Tennessee History Program will meet on Mondays at 10 a.m.

Join as the group moves county by county through local Tennessee history.

• The Anderson County Historical Society will meet on Thursday, March 26. at 5:30 p.m.

• AARP tax help will be available by appointment.
