Spring events at clinton parks

The city of Clinton Parks and Recreation Department announced the following events scheduled for March and April.

March 7

Hope in Motion

5K hosted by ASAP

of Anderson

This event will be run on Riverside Drive, the same route as the Clinton 5K in the fall. It will include a family fun mile run/walk from 7:30 to 8 a.m. as well as the main 5K race from 8 to 9:30 a.m.

April 18

Alzheimer’s Walk

Hosted by the Alzheimer’s of Tennessee Association, this event will be at Lakefront Park from 9 a.m. to noon.

It will include music, games, giveaways, free food and family fun.

The event will end with a one-mile walk along Riverside Drive, or a shorter walk option around the walking path at Lakefront Park.



April 18

Mosaic Arts Festival & Color Run

This event will take place at the Clinton Community Center and showcase local students’ artwork inside the building.

It will kick off with a color run on Main Street, and end at the center.

There will be live performances, and vendors as well.

April 25

Paws for a Cause

Pet Expo

This event will be held at the Carden Farm Dog Park from 9 am to 3 p.m.

It will be a pet friendly event and include vendors selling pet products, baked goods, and more.

There will be live music and a pet costume contest, as well.

The Anderson County Animal Rescue Foundation will host the event as a fundraiser for its activities.
