Lady Dragons roll past Lady Hawks

Last week, Clinton won a pair of league games against Hardin Valley Academy and Powell.
In its latest outing, the Lady Dragons rolled to a 44-6 victory over the Lady Hawks.
Clinton quarterback Lanee Carmichael threw for 236 yards and five touchdowns.
“That was a good one for us,” Lady Dragons Coach Brittany Siler said.
Addi Gamble starred on both sides of the ball for Clinton. She had three touchdown receptions, finished with 109 receiving yards and added a two-point conversion.
Defensively, Gamble also came up with an interception.
Josie Moody had two touchdown catches and 104 receiving yards.
Emersyn Williams rushed for a 29-yard touchdown, while Natalie White added a touchdown reception for the Lady Dragons.
White also turned in a big defensive effort, recording three tackles for loss, and two sacks.
Emilee Douglas added a sack and a tackle for loss for Clinton.
Earlier in the week, the Lady Dragons shut out rival Powell 26-0.
“That was a big win for us,” Siler said.
Gamble scored a pair of offensive touchdowns for Clinton and also had two interceptions on defense.
Hanna Harvey added two touchdowns for the Lady Dragons, and Charli Riggs made a two-point conversion.
Mia Jennings also had an interception against the Lady Panthers, who had won three consecutive games.
