Board of Education meets April 9
The Anderson County Board of Education will meet at 6 p.m. on Thursday, April 9, to vote on a resolution for future collaborations with the nuclear industry.
“You know the big push in Anderson County is nuclear jobs,” Director of Schools Tim Parrott said during a work session on Monday.
The resolution would authorize the director of schools to create partnerships with “regional boards of education, governmental entities, and other stakeholders to establish and support a collaborative regional approach to educational initiatives focused on workforce readiness.”
