Hawks, Senators meet Cross-county rivals Clinton and Norris played a two-game series on the baseball diamond last week.

The Hawks and Senators split the two-game series with both teams winning on their home field.

On Friday, the Senators won 7-6 as Hunter Wade pitched a complete game, going five innings. He gave up six runs (one earned), six hits and three walks. He had seven strikeouts.

Wade also contributed with his bat he went 2-for-3 with a double and two runs scored.

Jacob Pierce had two hits (including a double), two runs and one RBI.

Pearson Lollar went 2-for-3 with a double, two runs scored and one RBI for the Hawks, while Deacon McGhee had two hits, one RBI and a run scored.

Clinton protected its home field Thursday night as it won, 3-2,as Nate Silger had two hits and scored a run.

Pearson Lollar had a hit and drove in a run for the Hawks.

Cam Wilcox went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases for the Senators.
