Myers Dentistry adds Dr. Steese

DR. SAVANNAH STEESE
Steese began seeing patients on Aug. 3 after completing a general practice residency at the University of Tennessee Medical Center.
The practice is owned by Dr. Thomas Myers, who also has served as an instructor at the UT Medical Center in Knoxville since 2010.
He met Steese during her residency.
“As our year working together progressed, I knew she would be a great fit for the practice,” Myers said.
Steese, originally from Greenville, South Carolina, earned a bachelor’s degree from Clemson University in 2021, and a doctor of dental medicine degree from the Medical University of South Carolina in 2025.
She said that during her residency at UT Medical Center, she gained experience treating patients with complex medical conditions and providing comprehensive dental care.
Steese added that Myers’ mentorship has given her a “lasting influence” on her approach to dentistry and patient care.
“I’m so excited to be joining the Myers Family Dentistry team and becoming part of the Clinton community,” Steese said. “I look forward to building relationships with my patients, becoming involved in the community, and providing compassionate, high-quality dental care to each person who walks through the door.”
Outside of dentistry, Steese said, she enjoys spending time with her dachshund, trying new exercise classes and exploring new restaurants.
The practice also plans to make improvements to its building during the next six to nine months, including the addition of dental treatment rooms.
“We are excited to welcome Dr. Steese,” the office said in a written statement.
