Lady Wildcats close district season 4-4

Oak Ridge volleyball ended district play last week “in a rough stretch and struggling to come out of it,” Coach Meghan Ellis said.

The Lady Wildcats were swept at home by Clinton on Tuesday, Sept. 8, before suffering the same fate at Anderson County on Thursday, Sept. 10.

Junior libero Stephanie Kenworthy “played great in both matches and has played well all season,” Ellis said.

“Lindley Sullivan, a sophomore setter, played great in the Anderson County match,” she added.

Oak Ridge ended the week with a 4-4 record in district play.
