n Brian Copeland

is a 1990 graduate. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Carson-Newman University and a Master of Science degree in business/corporate communications from the University of Tennessee. That degree would serve him well on his way to becoming a successful real estate professional, a sales leader and an industry inf luencer.

Copeland has served as president of the Nashville Association of Realtors and Tennessee Realtors. He was selected as Nashville’s Realtor of the Year in 2011 and the Tennessee Realtor of the Year in 2022.

He has appeared in numerous HGTV and The Learning Channel television shows. He founded and runs one

of the largest technology camps in the nation each spring in Nashville, attracting hundreds of real estate professionals from 30 states and three continents. He continues his career marked by successful leadership.

n Jennifer Fletcher was able to simultaneously manage two distinct careers: one in law enforcement and the other as a top-rated basketball official.

After graduating from CHS in 1980, Fletch-

er earned a degree in criminal justice from East Tennessee State University. She would spend her entire career supervising convicted felons who were placed on parole or probation. Initially, she spent 12 years at the state parole office before moving to the federal level.

After retiring, she became a firearms instructor at the Regional Law Enforcement Training Academy at Walters State.

Fletcher was a threesport athlete at CHS, playing volleyball, basketball and softball. After college, she began officiating basketball, first in high school, then in college. Few Clintonians have experienced the level of success she achieved in officiating. She called games in seven different conferences, including the SEC. She worked games and scrimmages for

Pat Summitt. She was

a referee at an NAIA championship game and worked two consecutive NCAA Sweet 16 games. She made an impact in both facets of her life.

n Dr. Jody Goins is currently the executive vice president for administration of his college alma mater, Lincoln Memorial University. His road to that position includes numerous academic and athletic achievements.

After graduating from CHS in 2000, Goins earned his undergraduate degree from LMU. He was also a member of the basketball team. During his senior year, he was selected as the 2004 Student Athlete of the Year and Student Humanitarian of the Year. He received a master’s degree in education and supervision, a master’s degree in public administration and an education specialist degree (Ed.S.), all from LMU. He earned his doctoral degree from Walden University.

Goins’ career in public education began in

2004 at Oak Ridge High School, where he taught world geography and was an assistant boys basketball coach. From 2009 to 2015, he was the principal at ORHS.

He briefly served as principal at Knoxville’s Central High School and Claiborne County High School before returning to LMU.

Since 2015, Goins has assumed many administrative responsibilities overseeing myriad aspects as a leader of an academic institution.

n Dr. Mandy Grubb Halford is the senior vice president, chief medi-

cal officer and medical information officer for Covenant Health. Since her 1997 graduation from CHS, she has completed a plethora of academic and professional programs prior to achieving this prestigious position.

Halford graduated cum laude from the University of Tennessee with a Bachelor of Science degree in biochemistry, cellular and molecular biology. She received her Doctor of Medicine degree from UT Memphis. She did her internal medicine internship and residency training at UT Chattanooga.

Since 2009, Halford has been an assistant program director for Apogee Physicians, Covenant Health Cumberland, and clinical adjunct professor at LMU’s DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine, and a site director for internal medicine, also at LMU.

Halford has had her work published in various medical journals addressing topics such as patient safety, effective feedback and treatment of patients with community-acquired pneumonia. She is a sought-after public speaker and an active volunteer for programs like Tar Wars Tobacco-Free Education for Kids, YWCA fundraising and events, and Anderson County Remote Area Medical.

A businessman who is a leader in real estate,

a criminal justice and basketball officiating expert, a college administrator with a doctoral degree, and a medical doctor leading a major health provider — these are Clinton’s Wall of Fame inductees for 2026.
