William “Bill” A. Stokes, 79, Clinton, entered his heavenly home March 6, 2020, after a courageous battle against Parkinson’s Disease.
He was born Dec. 13, 1940. Bill dearly loved his Lord, wife, family, children, grandchildren, and friends. Bill was a member of Red Hill Baptist Church for many years where he ministered to many as a youth leader and deacon. He worked for many years as a service manager for Ford. He spread joy to everyone who crossed his path, and never failed to crack a joke all the way up to his last days.
He was preceded in death by: Parents, Z. W. Stokes and Lena “Lois” Stokes; brother, Norris Henry “Buddy” Stokes; sister, Mary June Burris; and brothers-in-law, Max Burris and Troy Estes.
He is survived by: Wife, Hazel Stokes; brother, Jerry Stokes (Dianne) of Kingston; sister, Wanda Estes of Harriman; daughters, Tracy Souder and Lena Scott (husband Steve) of Clinton; son, Lee Stokes (Gina) of Clinton; grandchildren, Eric Mathes, Morgan Smith (husband Zane), Blake Scott (Amy), Taylor Bailey (husband Christian), and Peyton Dickson (husband Jessy); great-grandchildren, Carson, Haley, Jackson, Lincoln, and Callie; and a host of special nieces and nephews.
Receiving of friends will be from 5 – 7 p.m. Monday, March 9, 2020, at Holly Gamble Funeral Home with a funeral service to follow.
Graveside will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 10, 2020, at Red Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.

Betty Brown, 81, Rocky Top, passed away Tuesday, March 3, 2020, at Diversicare in Oak Ridge.
She loved her family and spending time with them. Betty also loved her flowers, gardening and baking. Red was her favorite color, especially red high heels. Most of all she loved to cut up and enjoyed life. Betty enjoyed sitting at the shop in Rocky Top breaking beans and drinking coffee. She was a member of Tennessee Hollow Baptist Church in Briceville.
Betty was preceded in death by: Parents, Albert and Minnie Wills; husband, Ray Brown; brothers, Jack, David, Tommy, Bobby, Roy and Buck; sisters, Mary Lou, Billie and Jeanette.
Betty is survived by: Daughters, JoAnn Leach and husband Mike of Andersonville, and Pam Brown of Rocky Top; brother, James Wills and wife Sue of Beech Grove; sister, Judy Lively and husband Terry of Ohio; grandchildren, Brandon Brown, and Dustin Leach and wife Terica; great-grandchildren, Ansley and Mason.
She also leaves behind several extended family and friends.
Betty’s family received her friends from 4 – 7 p.m. Friday, March 6, 2020, with her funeral service following at 7 p.m. in the chapel of Jones Mortuary in Clinton, with Brother Robert Jones officiating.
Betty’s interment was at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 7, 2020, at the Circle Cemetery in Briceville.
Jones Mortuary in Clinton was in charge of all arrangements.

Terry Lee Webber, 52, born Dec. 4, 1967, Clinton, went peacefully to be with Jesus Feb. 29, 2020, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Terry had lived with his mother and stepfather, Shannon Paskell, until he went to his heavenly home.
Terry was preceded in death by: Grandparents, Odus and Margaret Walker of Clinton, Mary Ruth Webber of Clinton, Lawrence Webber; nephew, Seth Webber; uncles, Kyle and Roger (Butch) Webber of Clinton
Terry is survived by: Son, Tyler Webber of Clinton; mother, Mary Walker Paskell and husband Shannon of Clinton; father, Hubert Webber of Clinton; sister, Tisa Farmer of Clinton; brother, Scott Webber and wife Savannah of Jacksboro; stepsister, Robin Paskell Hutson and husband Todd of Knoxville.
Terry is also survived by several nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives.
Terry was really close to his aunta, Barbara Elkins, Ethel Davis, Carolyn Oxendine and Charlene Webber Burt. Terry Loved his special cousins Robin Nelson, DeDe Elkins, Leslie Campbell, Mindy Davis Loving, Danyell Davis, Jacquelin Walker Whitsell, Sheree Stooksbury Kern, Bryan and Mark walker, Darryl Webber.
Terry had a beautiful voice and loved singing, we are sure he is now singing in the angel’s choir. Terry loved classic cars, sports, fishing, and collecting coins, cards, and comic books. He was a loving father, son, brother, and friend to many. Terry’s loving and caring personality will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
“I ached and yearned for that imaginary place, the one which I could breathe. Now I sit here with God, with Natures beauty and astounding light; and now I feel like finally I can breathe!”
There will be a celebration of life at 5 p.m. Saturday, March 14, 2020, at Bethel Baptist Church in Clinton.

She was a member of Bear Wallow Baptist Church.

Vicki Lynn Cooper Keeney, Heiskell, was born Feb. 2, 1954, and passed away Feb. 27, 2020, surrounded by her loved ones.
She was preceded in death by: Parents, Willie Mae and Lloyd Cooper; and brother, Jimmy Cooper.
She is survived by: Husband of 47 years, Gary Keeney; son, Gary Keeney II and wife Annetta Keeney of Heiskell; daughter, Stephanie and husband Benji Braden of Briceville; bonus daughter, Melissa Davis of Powell; grandkids, Alicia (Colton) Lasley, Brittany (Scott) Smith, Lucas Sexton, Lissa (Jacob) Barton, Zachary Davis, Bailey, Abbey and Garrett Braden; great-grandkids, Brennon Bayless, Brinley Lasley, Eli and Hudson Smith, Riley and Sophie Barton.
Vicki was an active member of Greenway Baptist Church. She loved to spread the word of God to everyone she could. She enjoyed crafting, square dancing and being with her family, especially her grandkids. She was a housewife for 10 years before she went to work at Oak Ridge Preschool for 20 years, where she made many friends and loved all the children she worked with.
Family and friends will gather at noon Saturday, March 7, 2020, for a Celebration of Life service for Vicki in the chapel of Jones Mortuary with the Reverend Alan Giles officiating.

Stephanie Bailey, 35, Clinton, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 26, 2020, at Parkwest Hospital in Knoxville.
She was born in Oak Ridge to William and Rebecca Phillips Bailey on March 22, 1984. Stephanie was of Baptist faith and graduated from Clinton High School Class of 2003. She loved being a mother to her daughter, Allison. They enjoyed painting and shopping together. She was a loving daughter, mother, aunt, and big cousin. Stephanie will be dearly missed.
She was preceded in death by: Maternal grandparents, Robert Phillips and Jewel Hooks; paternal grandfather, Thomas Gordon Bailey; special uncle, Bill Miller.
Survived by: Daughter, Allison Tedder; parents, Rebecca and William Bailey; brothers, Nathan Phillips, Aaron Bailey; grandmother, Jerry Bailey; special niece, Breanna Phillips, several aunts, uncles and cousins and a host of other family and friends.

Kenneth Duncan, 83, Oliver Springs, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 25, 2020, at Summit View of Rocky Top.
He was born on July 26, 1936, in Lake City to the late Tom and Ethel Phillips Duncan. Kenneth was of the Baptist faith and loved hunting and fishing.
In addition to his parents, Kenneth was preceded in death by: Wife, Ollie Duncan; and daughter, Debbie Woods; son, Eddie Duncan; grandson, Michael Scott Hudson; and sister, Loretta Phillips.
Survivors: Daughter, Sandy Hudson and Jackie of Morristown; sons, Roger Duncan of Lake City, Anthony Duncan of Lake City; sister, Darlis Foster and Bill of Lake City; brother, Troy West and Linda of Lake City; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and lots of family and friends; special friends, Pearl Dison and daughter, Patricia Townsend and family.
Visitation will be held from 5 – 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 28, 2020, at Hatmaker Funeral Home.
