ADRIANE RHEA STEVENS

Adriane Rhea Stevens, 52, Knoxville, passed away suddenly Wednesday, April 7, 2021, at her home in Knoxville.

Adriane enjoyed gathering with her family and she loved to travel. She was an animal lover, but her puppies had a special place of their own in her heart. Adriane will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

She is survived by: Parents, Jerry and Carolyn Rhea of Powell; husband, Jesse Stevens of Knoxville; sons, Clay Rhea of Clinton and Garrett Young of Athens; sister, Kellie Jarnigan (David) of Kodak.

Services for Adriane will be private and available to family only. Jones Mortuary, LLC., Clinton, is in charge of all arrangements.

MARY TRAYLOR

Mary Traylor, a long-time resident of Norris, died April 7, 2021, at the age of 98.

She and her late husband, Marion Traylor, were members of the Norris Episcopal Church, where Marion was one of the founding members.

Mary is survived by: Daughter, Rhonda Traylor, who lives in Florida, and her son Roger and wife Jane Traylor; grandchildren, Andrew, William, Emily, all living in Oregon; and nephew, Ray Sindersine who lives in South Carolina.

Mary was predeceased by her brothers, Ray and William Sindersine.

Mary was born in Fairfax, S.C., March 4, 1923, to Maude and Louis Sindersine. She earned her Registered Nurse degree from Orangeburg, S.C., before marrying her husband, Marion, who graduated from Clemson University with a degree in hydraulic engineering. When Marion accepted employment with TVA they moved to Norris. Mary began working with Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge (Oak Ridge Hospital). In addition to her nursing degree, Mary was selected for specialized training in cardiac care in Nashville and also attended the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. She worked most of her career at Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge, but also worked at Y-12 .

Mary loved working in the yard and grew a stunning variety of Iris. She also was very fond of her cat, Sammie, who predeceased her.

All of her immediate family played musical instruments and although she did not, she was knowledgeable of many different instruments and music genre. She took ballroom dancing in her 50’s and loved traveling to Italy, Alaska, and Hawaii.

She enjoyed visits from her grandchildren and especially enjoyed making them her specialty, blueberry muffins.

Mary was a good nurse and her patients gave her complements for her caring manner. She enjoyed a strong cup of coffee with a lot of cream. She also will be remembered as spending most days outside picking up sticks on the lawn after the strong winds had passed.

A graveside service is scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday April 16, 2021, at Norris Memorial Gardens.

Mother Mandy Lippe of the Norris Episcopal Church will officiate.

NANCY CARROLL

Nancy went home peacefully on a glorious Easter Sunday surrounded by family.

She retired from Y-12 and enjoyed a long and wonderful life filled with church, crafting, baking bread, family and friends. Nancy was an active member of St. Francis Episcopal Church in Norris for many years, participating in the altar guild and the outreach committee. She also volunteered with the Norris Area Food Pantry and ACCAC.

Preceding her in death were: Parents, John A Walker and Martha E Goddard; brothers, Kenneth Walker and Winston Walker; sister, Kathy Walker; daughter, Martha L Bridges; and daughter-in-law, Tami Carroll.

Survivors include: Son, James (Alex) Carroll; daughter, Cathy Freels (Doug); sons-in-law, Jake Bridges, Steve Drevik (Leeann); grandchildren, Bret Freels, Lindsey Bridges, Lauren Ragland (Eric), Mitchell Bridges (Chris), Abigail Drevik (Colin); great-grands, Elijah Gremillion, Riley Freels, Benjamin Ragland and Jacob Ragland; and many special friends.

The family would like to thank Amedisys for the wonderful care, concern and assistance for Nancy.

Services will be held at a later date at St. Francis Episcopal Church in Norris.

REGINA M. WEAVER

Regina M. Weaver, 58, Clinton, gained her heavenly wings Saturday, April 3, 2021, at Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge.

She was a member of New Pleasant Gap Baptist Church. Regina was the manager of Sonic on Walker Springs Road in Knoxville until her retirement in 2015. Regina was an avid softball fan, loved watching her granddaughter, Bryana, play softball but most of all she loved spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Marie Tipton, Fred Tipton, Maxine York, and Roy York.

She is survived by: Loving husband, Donald Weaver of Clinton; daughter, Dana Weaver of Clinton; sons, Russell Fielden and wife Annabelle of Harriman and Brandon Thomas; parents, Bobby and Dorothy of Knoxville; grandchildren, Isaac Fielden, Bryana Holt, and Izzy Rueff; sister, Sherry Barnes and husband Eric of Knoxville; brother, Jeff Travis and wife Jamie of Powell; several nieces and nephews

The family will receive will receive friends from 5 – 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 7, 2021, at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home with funeral services to follow in the chapel with the Rev. Todd Reynolds.

Her graveside will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 8, 2021, at Bells Campground Cemetery.

EUNICE ARMSTRONG

Eunice Armstrong, 86, Clinton passed away Friday, April 2, 2021, at Parkwest Medical Center in Knoxville.

She was a member of South Clinton Baptist Church and retired from Department of Human Services in Anderson County as a case manager. Throughout her life she loved singing, playing the piano, but most of all spending time with her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by: Husband, Bobby Armstrong; parents, Paul and Leona Sexton; daughter, Shelia Bailey; son, Steve Armstrong; brothers, Flynn and Delano Sexton.

She is survived by: Daughter, Patricia Shoemaker and husband Wesley of Clinton; grandchildren, Tim Bailey, Matthew Shoemaker, Lisa Bailey, Samantha Shoemaker, Andrew Shoemaker, and Christian Armstrong; five great-grandchildren; brother, Dwight Sexton and wife Diane of Hazard, Ky.; several nieces and nephews.

The family will have a graveside service at 11 a.m. Monday, April 12, 2021, at Woodhaven Memorial Garden.

HAROLD EDWARD DANIEL

Harold Edward Daniel, 72, Heiskell, passed away Friday, April 2, 2021, at the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville.

He was born April 28, 1948, to Troy and Cletis Estell Foust Daniel in Claxton. He retired from Roehl Construction as a heavy equipment operator. He liked playing bingo, dirt track racing and watching NASCAR. In the past, Harold had restored old cars and even a tractor. He loved his grandchildren and to just visit with his friends. He loved attending Riverview Baptist Church and will be dearly missed.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by: Brother, C.R .Foust; sister, Velma Cofer; brother-in-law, Bill Cofer; niece, Sondra Adkins; nephews, Anthony Shoffner, Joey Robbins; and grandson, Nathan Fritts.

He is survived by: Wife of 41 years, Barbara Crawford Daniel; children, Marty Daniel and wife Sonya, Mark Daniel and wife Sherrie, Nicole Hill and husband Michael, Doug Anderson, Michael Anderson; grandchildren, Matthew, Jordan, Brooklyn, Micah, Mikenna, Shayla, Hayley, Hunter, Logan, and Brittan; great-grandchild, Keegan; siblings, Vaughn Daniel and wife Patricia, Charlie Daniel and wife Janice, Bertha Arnold and husband Joe, Stella Shelton, Sue Moneymaker, Clifton Daniel and wife Brenda; mother-in-law, Geraldine Scofield; sisters-in-law, Sandy Foster and husband Wayne, Jennifer Coward and husband Johnny; brother-in-law, Dewey Crawford and wife Candi; several nieces, nephews and a host of other family and friends.

The family will received friends at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton from 5 – 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 6, 2021, with funeral service following at 7 p.m. with the Rev. David Hicks officiating.

His graveside service will be at noon Wednesday, April 7, 2021, at Woodhaven Memorial Gardens.

ABRAHAM Z. WALLACE

Abraham Z. Wallace, 42, of Lafollette, formerly of Clinton, passed away suddenly Friday April 2, 2021, in Lafollette.

Abraham enjoyed four-wheeling with his brother and enjoyed spending time outdoors. He was a very hard worker and had a great sense of humor. Abraham enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He will be deeply missed by many.

He is survived by: Parents, Ronald Wallace and Victoria of Clinton; sons, Adam and Ethan Wallace of Oak Ridge; daughters, Sarah and Daisy Wallace of Oak Ridge; brother, Ronald Wallace (Chelsie) of Clinton; sisters, Stacy Phillips (Michael) of Clinton, Carrie Woodruff (James) of Ft. Bragg, N.C., Kimberly Wallace of Clinton.

He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.

The receiving of family and friends will be held at The Chapel in Jones Mortuary from 6 – 8 p.m. Thursday, April 8, 2021, with a funeral service to follow.

An interment will be held at Red Hill Baptist Cemetery at 11 a.m. Friday, April 9, 2021.

KEVIN GLANDON

Kevin Glandon, 59, of Birmingham, Ala., passed away April 1, 2021.

Kevin was born April 7, 1961, to Max and Gloria Glandon in Oak Ridge. After graduating from Clinton High School in 1979, he went on to study mechanical engineering at Tennessee Tech.

After graduating, he landed his first job at Georgia Power as a mechanical engineer. He eventually joined Southern Nuclear in Birmingham, where he became a dedicated fleet engineering manager.

While working in Augusta, Ga., he met his loving wife of 29 years, Stephanie Little. They knew each other through work, but seeing each other at the Masters Golf Tournament is where it all began. Kevin and Stephanie went on to have three children, Loveday, John, and Cole. They made their home in Chelsea, Ala., and he was a member of St. Marks Catholic Church.

Kevin was the epitome of a family man, and known for his smile. He was the kind of man who always considered others first. Kevin had a great appreciation for the small things in life and an understanding on what makes life worth living. His pride and joy was his three children and helping them achieve their dreams. He truly enjoyed his work in engineering and took great pride in it. He had a lasting positive effect on everyone he came across and the community.

Kevin was predeceased by: Father, Max Glandon; and younger brother, Brian Glandon.

Kevin is survived by: Wife, Stephanie Little Glandon; their children, Loveday (fiancé Jacob Murphy), John, and Cole; mother, Gloria Glandon; brother, Steve Glandon (Julie); nephews, Ross Glandon, Philip Glandon (Molly), Nathan Glandon; niece, Rachel (Patrick) Baldwin; great-niece, Charlotte Baldwin; and great-nephew, Rhys Glandon.

Kevin’s services were held at Ridout’s Valley Chapel in Homewood, Ala.
