The City of Clinton has passed the following ordinances: Ordinance No. 694 -Amending the zoning ordinance by rezoning parcel 97.02; Anderson County Map 081 from B-2 (General Business District) to R-2 (Medium Density Residential) located off South Charles G. Seivers Blvd.; Ordinance No. 695 – Amending the zoning ordinance by rezoning Parcel 23.02, Group A; Anderson County Map 074P and Parcel 29, Group A; Anderson County Map 074P from B-2 (General Business District) to R-2 (Medium Density Residential) located off Charles G. Seivers Blvd.; Ordinance No. 696 – an ordinance levying a Privilege Tax upon the occupancy in any Hotel/Motel or any place in which rooms, lodging or accommodations are furnished to transients for consideration. Ordinance No. 697 – an ordinance adopting the annual budget for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2025 and ending June 30, 2025. Ordinance No. 698 – an ordinance amending Ordinance No. 680 “Zoning Code for the City of Clinton, Tennessee”, by modifying the following four zoning ordinance sections: (1) Chapt 5, Section 5.7, B-4 interstate business district by inserting a new subsection “§5.7.13 uses permitted by special exception in B-4 interstate business district”; (2) Chapt 6, Section 6.2 permitted use schedule, residential uses, multiple family dwellings in B-4; (3) Chapt 6, Section 6.2 permitted use schedule, retail & wholesale trade uses, storage yards; (4) Chapt 6, Section 6.2 permitted use schedule, business and private service uses, storage yards. Ordinance No. 699 – ordinance amending the fiscal year 2024-2025 budget. Ordinance No. 700 – an ordinance amending Ordinance No. 680, Zoning Code of the City of Clinton, by modifying Chapter 5 provisions governing use districts by inserting a new subsection “§5.14 Gateway Overlay District”. Ordinance No 701 – an ordinance of the City of Clinton fixing the property tax rate for the tax year 2025 (Fiscal Year Ending June 30, 2026). Ordinance No. 702 – an ordinance to amend Ordinance No. 693 “Establishing a Maximum amount for Purchases without Public Advertisement and Competitive Bidding”.
