Leo Club delivers flowers

The Lantern at Morning Pointe Alzheimer’s Center of Excellence, Clinton welcomed the Leo Club from Anderson High School. But the young ladies didn’t arrive empty handed. Each with roses in hand, the girls delivered flowers to each of the residents at the Alzheimer’s memory care community. The Leo Club is a sister group to the Norris, Tenn.-based Lion’s Club -- an all men’s group. Their mission is to engage in community service activities to promote a better place to live. “Seeing the smiles on the residents’ faces, it’s clear that they fulfilled their mission to spread goodwill in our community,” says LuAnn Hanchett, life enrichment director at The Lantern at Morning Pointe. Intergenerational activities are embraced at Morning Pointe, as the seniors welcome youth of all ages to spend quality time together.
