ACHS has five FFA teams competing nationally

The Anderson County High School Chapter of Future Farmers of America (FFA) made FFA history this year when it became the first FFA chapter in the history of FFA since 1928 in the nation to have five state winning teams compete at the national FFA career development events all in the same year. ACHS FFA teams competing during the week of Oct. 23 through 28 are: Agronomy, Environmental and Natural Resources, Food Science and Technology, Milk Quality and Products and Poultry Production. These teams are coached by FFA advisor Philip Warfield. The ACHS FFA teams were recognized at the Anderson County Commission meeting on Sept. 18, for their outstanding accomplishments and were pictured with Commissioners.
