Clinton City Schools shows off its ‘Wheels’
The students participated in a Career Parade, dressing up representing their favorite career.
The halls were filled with baseball players, artists, teachers, police officers, astronauts, contractors, and much more.
The students learned about nine different careers on wheels. The vendors included the Clinton Police Department (who brought the Mobile Command Center truck), Clinton Fire Department, and a state trooper. CUB brought their bucket truck, and the students loved climbing into the bucket and blowing the horn. Other vendors included Anderson County EMS, TDOT, National Guard, and WYSH. The event wrapped up with students learning about and sampling Kona Ice.
This event is part of the comprehensive Pre-K through 6th grade College and Career Program that allows students to explore a variety of career options available. Career on Wheels will be held at South Clinton Elementary April 12 and North Clinton Elementary on April 13.
Clinton City Schools appreciates community partners for making this activity a success for students.
