Open house scheduled for Clinton City Schools
Students in Clinton City Schools will have the opportunity to meet their teacher, find their classrooms, as well as learn about school activities and programs before the first day of school.
Each school — Clinton Elementary, North Clinton Elementary, and South Clinton Elementary — will have its first open house on Thursday, Aug. 2.
Parents are encouraged to bring their students, drop off their supplies, and attend a brief informational meeting in each of the child’s classrooms.
Classes will begin on Friday, Aug. 3, in the city schools.
The first day is a half-day with dismissal at 11:30 a.m. Breakfast will be available beginning at 7:15 a.m. Lunches will not be served that day.
Open house schedule for Clinton City Schools (Aug.2)
• Clinton Elementary 4-6 p.m., Title I meeting in the auditorium at 4:30 p.m.
• North Clinton Elementary 4-5:30 p.m. Parent meeting in the cafeteria at 4 p.m. Title I meeting will be displayed in classrooms at 4:15 p.m.
• South Clinton Elementary Kindergarten-2nd grade 5-6 p.m.; 3rd-6th grade 6-7 p.m. Title I meeting will be displayed in classrooms.
