Summer’s over: Students go back to school Friday

School supply lists are available for parents online

Anderson County School System and Clinton City School System will welcome back students Friday, Aug. 3.

While educators have been back in class for at least a week getting rooms ready for students, there are still questions parents and students will have before classroom doors open for the first day.

Clinton City Schools will welcome approximatley 975 students Friday — though that number could fluctuate. The system employs 130 staff members, including teachers and support staff.

Parents are encouraged to bring their students, drop off their supplies, and attend a brief informational meeting in each of their child’s classrooms.
