There is a person, who says he is representing a company in Kentucky, soliciting businesses for advertising to be placed on a calendar of Anderson County elected officials.
Several Anderson County government officials have been contacted by businesses asking about this calendar, but none of the officials are involved in the project.
Businesses should take note that no Anderson County official is connected with any calendar of Anderson County elected officials.
The county attorney and Anderson County and Clinton City law enforcement officials have been made aware of the situation.
While it is uncertain that any laws are being broken, the firm selling advertising for this calendar is doing so without authorization from Anderson County officials.
