Otho Brown Scholarship recipients Erin Collier, Abbey Kidwell, Tammy Winstead
Three Clinton City School teachers were awarded the Otho Brown Scholarship at the Clinton City Schools Board meeting in August. The 2018 recipients of this award were Erin Collier, 5th grade teacher at South Clinton; Abbey Kidwell, Administrative Intern at Clinton Elementary; and Tammy Winstead, Interventionist at Clinton Elementary. All three professionals are seeking advanced degrees at the University of TN where this scholarship will help them meet their personal goals. Since 2002, the Otho Brown Scholarship has awarded approximately $110,000 to Clinton City teachers who seek to improve student academic performance through continuing their own professional learning. Cathy Brown was in attendance to congratulate each of the teachers on their accomplishment.
