As part of College Application Week, students in Anderson County’s Bridge Academy participated in several events. With the help of counselor Sheila Skeans, students were able to apply to colleges and fill out Tennessee Promise applications. One activity was a Scavenger Hunt created by career and technical education teacher Estle Muncy. At the Anderson County High School College Fair, students were able to talk with representatives from various colleges, take selfies with them, get pamphlets, etc. The winner of the Bridge Academy Scavenger Hunt was Alex Bell, who correctly completed all scavenger hunt activities. Another contest was for students to decorate their classroom work stations with a college or career theme. Winners are shown with their prizes, which were gift cards to local restaurants.
