About his character ...

EDITOR:

If you’ve heard Mayor Burton’s persona or demeanor strongly resembles that of the south-end of a horse then in honesty, you don’t know this individual.

He’s a Clinton- man, and without doubt a man of and for the people. Find me a bigger-hearted, likable, intelligent or honorable person and I’ll vote otherwise.

Truth is...it can’t be done.

Let me enlighten you regarding Mayor Burton’s life convection to helping others in need. Not mentioning names, one of my neighbors has been in need of a helping hand for quite some time.

Financially lacking funds to purchase even an inexpensive car for travel to grocery stores, doctor’s appointments and at times church, my neighbor had it tough.

I say had, because he passed away recently and Mayor Burton, without reservation dedicated hours upon end, several times a week to make sure this man had at least a chance at having a decent quality of life.

Think about it, how many people or friends would do the same for you.

So, no one can tell me Mayor Burton doesn’t have a heart-of-gold. Do we-the-people want someone like this representing our needs and thoughts while in a public office?

My thoughts on this subject, YOU BET!
