Cool temperatures did not keep the crowd away Saturday morning during the annual Veterans Day Parade in Clinton. Running backwards from its usual route the parade still saw many people waving flags and shouting “Thank you,” as veterans passed. Air Force Veteran Joan Blackmore of Oliver Springs, below, did not take part in the parade itself, but every time the Stars and Stripes marched by, she snapped off a salute
