Berry College
The following local students were named to the Fall 2018 Dean’s List at Berry College (Rome, Ga.):
Elizabeth Bradshaw, Abby Ochs, and Elisabeth Martin, all of Oak Ridge.
The Dean’s List honors students who posted an academic average of 3.5 or better on a 4.0 scale while carrying a class load of at least 12 hours during the semester.
University of the Cumberlands
In recognition of academic performance, the Office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs at University of the Cumberlands has announced the students named to the Dean’s List for the fall 2018 semester.
Among those named to the Dean’s List are:
Tyler Kohn and Jamie Moses of Rocky Top; Alyssa Norman of Andersonville; and Madison Sickau of Norris.
Columbia State
Columbia State Community College announced Bronson Burdick of Oak Ridge as one of the 106 students named to the president’s list for earning academic honors during the fall semester.
To qualify for the president’s list, students must earn 15 credit hours for the semester with a grade point average of 3.90 - 4.00.
Maryville College
Nine students from Anderson County made the Dean’s List for the fall 2018 semester at Maryville College: Nathaniel Kiernan of Andersonville; Sarah Cardall and Makayla Nance of Clinton; and Daniel Beckett, Alexa Bell, Ian Campbell, Kaitlyn Carroll, Allison Parton and Austin Vinyard of Oak Ridge.
Consideration for the Dean’s List is open to full-time students who have a grade point average of at least 3.6 in all work undertaken, no grade below a “C” and no incompletes for the semester.
University of South Alabama
Andrea Belt of Oak Ridge, Tennessee, was recently initiated into The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, the nation’s oldest and most selective all-discipline collegiate honor society.
Belt was initiated at University of South Alabama.
University of Kentucky
Chloe Elizabeth Bales, Oak Ridge, majoring in internation studies, has been named to the University of Kentucky’s Dean’s List for the fall semester of the 2018-2019 school year.
To make a Dean’s List in one of the UK colleges, a student must earn a grade point average of 3.6 or higher and must have earned 12 credits or more in that semester, excluding credits earned in pass-fail classes.
LMU
Lincoln Memorial University (LMU) has announced the Dean’s List for the Fall semester of 2018.
Six hundred and twenty-eight undergraduate students were honored. To be placed on the Dean’s List, the student must be a full-time undergraduate and have a 3.5 grade point average for the semester. Included on the Dean’s List were:

Carson-Newman University
The following Carson-Newman University student(s) made Dean’s List for the fall 2018 semester.
The University awards Dean’s List honors to students earning a grade point average of 3.5 or higher while taking 12 or more credit hours.

Bob Jones University
Natasha Smith, a Junior Graphic Design major from Oak Ridge, was among approximately 900 students named to the Dean’s List for high academic achievement during the Fall 2018 semester at Bob Jones University.
To qualify for the Dean’s List, students must earn a 3.0-3.74 grade point average.
