Today’s Woman Expo is this Saturday at the JA Building
The Today’s Woman Expo is scheduled for April 6 at the Junior Achievement Center in Clinton from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. It’s the second year the Anderson County Chamber has hosted the event, after being on hiatus for a number of years, according to chamber membership coordinator Marsha Stapleton.
“We brought it back by popular demand last fall, then thought it was more of a spring event,” she said. “We will continue to host it in the spring.”
The day is designed to promote small businesses and to encourage people to shop local.
“With their neighbors,” Stapleton added.
The first 100 people that come in the door get a free goody bag. There will be three beauty pageants and a fashion show at 1 p.m., sponsored by the Stair Agency.
Scheduled vendors include 31, My Frugal Home, Clinch Valley Crossfit, most of the boutiques in town, Bubblegum Betty’s, Johnson and Company, Southern Gossip, Southern Chic, and many more, according to Stapleton.
