Lady Mavs undefeated in Round-Up
The Anderson County Mavericks had their annual Maverick Round-Up on Saturday, Aug. 10.
The Round-Up brings various area high schools to Anderson County to celebrate the sport of volleyball and finish the pre-season.
The Lady Mavs cleaned house, finishing the weekend 6-0 against Farragut, Bearden, Science Hill, Tennessee High, Sullivan South, and Grace.
This also means that the Mavs have gone undefeated in their entire pre-season, going 13-0, which no Anderson County team has ever achieved.
One of those wins, during their volleyball camp, was against the 2018 North Carolina State Champions.
