Songs being featured are We Three Kings and Jingle Bells.
Also, on December 17, 2019, the CMCCA Choir will be performing in the Clinton Middle Auditorium. So far, the choir is working on “Carol of the Bells” and “Somewhere in My Memory” to perform at the concert.

On Middle School
A Column by Marissa Eccles, Jasmine Erick, David Holguin and Emma Vaughn
School plays a big role in adolescent life.
It shapes who we are and what we believe, but it also teaches us lessons that go deeper than academics.
Several students here at Clinton Middle have learned that sometimes you have to let people you care about go to help better yourself, to just shrug it off and continue on.
A student who wishes to stay anonymous elaborated on this by saying, “I always tell people that if they’re gonna be happy without me I need to let them go and they need to let me go. Another thing I learned when my sister died, she told me it’s going to be okay and if I’m not there it’ll be okay and sometimes it’s good to leave. And let toxic people out of your life and surround yourself with happiness and that’s something a lot of people don’t understand.”
Most people think of school as a purely academic place but we build our lives around school and even though it teaches us academics it also teaches us how to survive in the real world.
And in middle school, teachers are not the only people who teach us kids, we teach each other as well.
Hawks Dance Team: The Return
by Rylee Gann and Eric Page
The Clinton Middle School Dance team is a great addition to the athletic program. It has been a few years since we’ve had a team.
They have been surprising the fans with dances!
Dance team member Jasmine Erick said that, “It’s like a family, it gives you people to rely on and we have a lot of fun. We got to choreograph and come up with the ending of our new hip-hop dance and are working on more ways to improve it as a whole.
“Dance is definitely a hard thing to do, because you have so much in your head at once. We learn each dance in 2-3 days and have practices Monday, Wednesday and Friday.”
Jasmine also said that,” She loves the environment she is surrounded by when dancing.”
Until next week...
