UCOR hosting ‘lunch and learn’ on home cybersecurity

With so many people working from home (and having their kids at home spending time on the computer), the importance of strong cybersecurity is more important than ever.

To support our small business partners as well as others who are teleworking, UCOR presents a free, virtual lunch and learn on May 14: Cybersecurity in the Time of COVID-19.

UCOR Cybersecurity Manager Steve Lape has designed the webinar to provide information to help small businesses and teleworkers protect themselves from internal and external cyber threats.

Participants will learn about Virtual Private Networks, two-factor authentication, password managers, and tips on how to improve home network security.

Lape is considered an industry leader in user awareness. He developed a cybersecurity training program that has been recognized by the Department of Energy and the Department of Homeland Security as “Best in Class.”

The 60-minute webinar will be presented from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Thursday, May 14, via Zoom.

Registration is open now and is required for the event.
