The Lady Mavs came away with two more wins this week after starting off with a 3-0 victory over Clinton Tuesday, Sept. 15. The scores for those sets were 25-13, 25-8, and 25-17.
After that, the Lady Mavs hosted Grainger County, getting another 3-0 win after beating the Lady Grizzlies 25-7, 25-17, and 25-17. The Lady Mavs took an early lead in all three sets. In the first set, Matti Rowland led a phenomenal 11-point streak for the Mavericks, taking their already sizeable 9-5 lead all the way to 20-5, while in the final set, Erin Cantrell served for the Mavs, putting them up 7-0 to start the final set.
