Risden, Pietrzak named ACCCRTA Scholarship recipients

Patsye Thurmon, president of ACCCRTA, presented two graduating seniors with $1,000 scholarships today. From ACHS is Lauren Risden (left), daughter of Timothy Risden. She plans to attend Roane State for her Associates degree and then go to Tennessee Tech, in the field of Elementary Education, though she is now possibly considering Secondary Math. On the right is Claire Pietrzak from CHS, daughter of Harper Maxwell and Jeff Maxwell. Claire will attend Tennessee Tech and also originally considered Elementary Education but is now thinking of teaching Criminal Justice.
