Good things at the Fair

Good things happened at the Anderson County Fair last week. During Wednesday’s Senior Day, Cecil Haun and his wife, Martha, were recognized as the longest-married couple at 74 years. Cecil Haun, who is 103, was honored with a Quilt of Valor during the activities. Haun is a World War II veteran who served as Gen. George S. Patton’s first scout for 2-1/2-years during the war in Europe.
