1950 CHS grads gathered for 71st reunion
Twelve members of the Clinton High School Class of 1950 met Wednesday, Sept. 8, 2021, at Harrison’s restaurant to celebrate 71 years since their graduation.
The class decided several years ago to meet every year and has been able to do that, except for 2020.
Eight guests were also there to celebrate with the following graduates:
Eddie and Sabra (Shattuck) Applebee, Mary Lou (Sweet) Carden, Eugene Jenkins (traveled from Michigan), Toni (Lane) Jenkins, Anna Belle (Dover) King, Ann (Hicks) Patton, Virginia (Patterson) Rose, Juanita Burress Roettger, Barsha (Ivester) Ruble, James E. Thompson, and Lucille (Foust) Wright.
While there were fewer attendees this year, they say their love and affection for all classmates remains strong. And with this unending friendship in mind, plans were made to meet again next year.
