Stonecipher running for 2nd District commission

V.L. STONECIPHER

He is a native Anderson Countian and has lived in the Clinton area for the past 49 years.

Stonecipher and his wife, Pat, reside at 218 Bingham Drive, Clinton. They have two adult children, Will and Sarah, and three grandchildren. They are members of Memorial United Methodist Church in Clinton.

Prior to his retirement in 2009, V.L. served the children of Anderson County for 43 years as a teacher, principal, supervisor, and director of schools. He has served as an Anderson County commissioner and currently is serving on the Anderson County Charter Commission.

Stonecipher has coached Little League Baseball and basketball. He was a TSSAA basketball official for 13 years.

Stoneciper said his decision-making process is, “It is not who is right, but what is right.”
