After a three-year hiatus caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, the annual Norris TVA Picnic resumed last Saturday evening at the Lions Club picnic pavilion on the Norris Commons.

Several dozen of the Tennessee Valley Authority’s Norris employees, retirees and their family members turned out for the covered-dish event, which began at 4:30 p.m., featuring a long table covered with homemade entrees, vegetables, salads, and desserts.

Attending were employees and retirees of the TVA Aquatics Lab, Engineering Lab, Natural Resource Building, Forestry Building, and Norris Dam.

Spencer Boardman was among those on hand overseeing the event, and said he was glad to see the picnics resume.

The spread of food, of course, was quite tantalizing.
