SCOR is one of the best in the state


THE SOCCER CLUB OF OAK RIDGE
Soccer Club of Oak Ridge has one of the state’s top girls club soccer teams in the state of Tennessee.

The 2011 Lady Mustangs (U-12) are the No. 3 team in the Volunteer State and are among the nation’s Top 50 clubs, boasting a No. 47 ranking in the country.

The 2011 Lady Mustangs, coached by SCOR vice president Donnie Green, are 19-0-2 as they swept the recent Southeastern Classic in Gatlinburg.

“We swept the Southeastern Classic and we won the championship when we beat Armada FC, from Nashville, 6-2.”

The team also defeated two FC Alliance sides and Macon United, which hails from North Carolina in the event.

Team members include: Sophie Benny; Emery Blankenship; Greer Bowman; Braylynn Franklin; Zara Kreon; Mila Mason; Aurora Morris; Leah Nichols; Audrey Pate; McKennah Slack; Kinlee Swisher; Kate Swisher and Maddie Wilburn.

SCOR serves Anderson, Loudon, Roane. Morgan Counties.
