Anderson County High School freshman sen- sation Macy Basford (pictured) was incorrectly named “Emily Basford” in the Jan. 18, 2023, story for the Anderson County and Clinton high school girls basketball game. Basford scored 17 points for the Lady Mavs against CHS. The Courier News apologizes for this error and any confusion it may have caused.
