Clinton High School Dragon football ‘Lift-A-Thon’ set for March 10
Dragon Nation, the football team, is needing your help in March.
The football team is holding a “lift-a-thon” fundraiser to help the team with its fees for the upcoming season.
The lift-a-thon will be held at the Hollings-worth Sportsplex at 6 p.m. Friday, March 10, and is open to the public.
The team is asking people to help donate either 10-, 25- or 50-cents a pound for the total weight lifted by the athletes.
For example, if a player lifts 1,000 pounds in his three lifts (bench, squat, power cling, etc.) at 10 cents a pound, the donation would be $100.
The Dragons say please come out and join the team and support each and every member of the 2022-23 Clinton Dragons.
