Luke Dark ranks tops in class of 2026
Luke Dark earned all-state honors during the indoor track season and has started the outdoor phase with impressive numbers.
In his debut outdoor meet for the Mavs, he threw the shot put 53 feet, six inches.
The second place finisher, Farragut’s Bryce Thompson, threw 52 feet, seven inches.
Dark set records while at Norris Middle School and is on track to do the same at Anderson County High School.
He’s drawing attention from state track publications, like “Tennessee Runner,” which had a piece on him following his outdoor debut.
