Pageantry highlights first night of the Best Six Days of Summer

The Best Six Days of Summer, also known as the Anderson County Fair, opens Monday, July 17, and opening night of the fair is a night of pageantry — The Fairest of the Fair Pageant.

Beginning at 7 p.m. Monday, Princess, Junior Fairest and Senior Fairest of the Fair pageants will be held in the Underwood-McRae Pavilion in the Anderson County Fairgrounds in Clinton.

Tiny Miss pageants (Mini Miss, Tiny Miss, Little Miss, Miss Pre-Teen) will be at 6 p.m. Tuesday, July 18, at the Underwood-McRae Pavilion.

Contestants for the Fairest of the Fair include:

Ansley Grace Barker, daughter of Crystal and Russell Barker;

Jacee Kallen Cooper, daughter of Shannon and Kenny Cooper;

Hannah Marie Lindsay, daughter of Kaylee and Scott Lindsay;

Savannah Marley McHugh, daughter of Kelly and Marvin McHugh;

Jasmine Moua, daughter of Tia and Jake Moua;

Eliza Genevieve Oliver, daughter of Susan and Kenneth Oliver;

Sasha Salome Umansky, daughter of Maria and Anton Umansky;

Madi Christine Wolfebarger, daughter of Amy Wells and Shane Wolfenbarger and the late colin Wells.

Contestants for Junior Fairest of the Faire are:

Anna Jane Berven, daughter of Samantha and Matt Berven;

Jaelyn Mariah Fairchild, daughter of Amanda and Chris Fairchild;

Hallie Rae Hooks, daughter of C rrie and Darren Hooks;

Madison Grace Lindsay, daughter of Kalei and Scott Lindsay;

McKinley Nicole Stanton, daughter of Tera Jones and Mike Stanton;
