Lions Charities (District 12N) reverse raffle winner

During a recent meeting, Gwen Cole of the Clinton Lions Club presented a $500 check to Glenn Morris, a resident of Clinton.

Morris was one of the winners of the East Tennessee Lions Charities Reverse Raffle.

Cole sold him the winning ticket. Congratulations Glenn.

District 12N Charities supports the charitable work of the individual Lions Clubs of East Tennessee, providing assistance to such organizations as the Tennessee School for the Blind, Leader Dog School, Tennessee School for the Deaf, Knoxville area Project Access, Lions Volunteer Blind Industries, and others.

Smoky Mountain Lions Charities also supports Lions clubs in their charitable activities and coordinates the activities of the Smoky Mountain Lions Charities Mobile Vision Lab. The Vision Van provides free or reduced-fee eye examinations and glasses to those in need.

The Vision Lab completed its 135th mission July 19, serving 63 individuals, providing eye examinations and glasses to residents of East Tennessee.
