Chevy Trax is grand prize in Anderson County Chamber Foundation reverse raffle
Rusty Wallace Chevrolet in Clinton has donated a 2024 Chevrolet Trax to the Anderson County Chamber Foundation, which is hosting a Lucky 13 Reverse Raffle on Friday, Oct. 13.
The holder of the last ticket drawn will take home the red Chevy Trax.
“It’s a brand new model that has been redesigned for 2024, and one of the first ones we received,” said Mark Troutt, general manager of Rusty Wallace Chevrolet. “Whoever ends up winning it will be elated.”
Only 1,500 tickets will be available for the raffle, which will take place at a Tennessee tailgate party from 6-9 p.m. at Rusty Wallace Chevrolet, 224 S. Main St., Clinton.
Tickets are $50 each or three for $100. They may be purchased at tinyurl.com/lucky13raffle.
“At Rusty Wallace, we are always glad to be part of the community, and we want to help give back, Troutt said in describing why the dealership donated the car.
“I think our values line up with the chamber’s values,” he said. “ The chamber is a great organization that gives back to the community. The chamber supports Anderson County, and we want to be part of helping the chamber and our community.”
Proceeds from the raffle will support the Anderson County Chamber Foundation’s $1 million “Building a Better Future” fund drive for the new Chamber of Commerce headquarters at the corner of North Main and North Hicks streets in Clinton.
The 7,700-square-foot building will provide state-of-the art facilities and technology, including a diversified room for chamber board meetings and coffees, as well as for meetings, videoconferencing and training by community organizations and chamber members.
“Thanks to Rusty Wallace Chevrolet for donating this 2024 Chevy Trax as the grand prize for the Reverse Raffle,” said Rick Meredith, chamber president and CEO.
“This is a great opportunity for someone to win a 2024 car, and for the community to support the Chamber Foundation with the raffle.”
The raffle winner must be 18 or older to win, and ticket holders do not need to be present to win.
The Anderson County Chamber Foundation, formed last December, is leading the fund drive.
As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, the foundation provides the opportunity to support the new facility with contributions that are tax-deductible.
