Christopher Barth named to UWA Dean’s List
Christopher Barth has been named to the University of West Alabama’s spring 2024 Dean’s List for outstanding academic achievement.
Barth, a computer engineering technology major from Heiskell, is a member of the class of 2027.
The Dean’s List gives recognition to undergraduate students with grade-point averages from 3.25 to 3.79, who complete at least 12 semester credit hours, with no grade lower than a “C.”
Blair named
to Georgia Institute
of Technology Dean’s List
Joseph Blair of Oak Ridge made the Dean’s List for the spring 2024 semester at the Georgia Institute of Technology.
This designation is awarded to undergraduate students who have earned a 3.0 or higher academic average for the semester.
Critchlow makes MSU’s spring 2024 Dean’s List
Carley Critchlow from Clinton was named to the Missouri State University spring 2024 semester Dean’s list.
Students who attain academic excellence are named to the list.
For undergraduate students, criteria include enrollment in at least 12 credit hours during the semester, and earning at least a 3.5 grade-point average on a 4.0 scale.
Critchlow was among more than 4,800 students named to the spring 2024 list.
Christina Gerber earns Dean’s List recognition at
Valdosta State
Valdosta State University reports that Christina Gerber of Oak Ridge has been named to the spring 2024 Dean’s List.
Dean’s List honors are reserved for the highest-achieving students at VSU.
Gerber is one of more than 1,600 students at the schoolrecognized for exemplifying excellence in the attainment of their educational goals.
To qualify for the Dean’s List at VSU, students must achieve a semester grade-point average of 3.5 or higher on nine or more semester hours with an institutional grade-point average of 3.0 or higher.
Gerrish named
to spring 2024 Dean’s List
The University of Rhode Island has announced that Nicole Gerrish of Oak Ridge has been named to the spring 2024 Dean’s List.
To be included on the Dean’s List, full-time students must have completed 12 or more credits for letter grades that are GPA applicable during a semester, and achieved at least a 3.30 quality-point average.
Part-time students qualify with the accumulation of 12 or more credits for letter grades which are GPA applicable when earning at least a 3.30 quality- point average.
Artrip named to Dean’s List at
Alvernia University
Josalyn Artrip of Oak Ridge is one of more than 750 students to be named to Alvernia University’s Dean’s List for the spring 2024 semester, majoring in PK-4 and special ed PK-12.

To be eligible for the Dean’s List, students must carry a semester GPA of 3.5 or better and take a minimum of 12 credits.
Caroline Spurling named to
Dean’s List
Norris resident Caroline Spurling has been named to the Dean’s List at James Madison University for the spring 2024 semester.
Students who earn Dean’s List honors must carry at least 12 graded credit hours and earn a GPA of 3.5 to 3.899.
