Anderson County American Legion Post 172 held a ribbon-cutting ceremony for itsr new building at 436 Spring St. in Clinton on July 27. Participating were, from left: Claude Martin, who has been a member of the post for 68 years; Terry Shores, chairman of the building committee; Bear Stephenson, whose family the building was named for; Vice Commander Don Moore; and Commander David Farmer.
