Fall Plant sale at Clinch River Community School
The Clinch River Community School Greenhouse is having a fall plant sale starting Wednesday, Sept. 24.
The sale will continue until the school runs out of plants or Oct. 3 “whichever comes first,” an official post stated.
Sale hours will be weekdays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Saturday from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. at the Clinch River Community School Greenhouse. The sale will be up the hill behind the Anderson County Career Technical Center at 160 Maverick Circle in Clinton.
he greenhouse sale accepts cash or checks, but can’t accept credit or debit cards.
“We will have mums in an assortment of sizes and colors, ornamental cabbage and kale, pansies, violas, several perennials, and a small selection of herbs,” an official announcement stated.
Money raised from the plant sale goes back into the agricultural educational programs for Clinch River students.
