Manhattan Project National Park sets October events
The National Park Service will hold several Oak Ridge events in October.
“Building America’s Secret City,” a historic tour of Jackson Square, will be presented from 6- 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 17.
The “Tennis Court Dance” to 1940s music, will be from 7-8 p.m. at the Jackson Square Tennis Court at the intersection of Michigan Avenue and Broadway Avenue on the same evening.
“K-25: Enriching Uranium in Happy Valley,” a ranger talk, will be from 11 a.m. until noon Saturday Oct. 26 at the K-24 Overlook and Visitor Center.
