December CLINTON Library Events

TN History Class

Tennessee History Class will meet weekly at 10 a.m. on Mondays Dec. 16, 23 and 30. The class moves county by county through the state’s history.



Music and Movement

Children’s Music and Movement activities will be on Tuesday Dec. 17.



Book Club

Interactive Book Club, an elementary and middle school activity, will be at 4 p.m. Dec. 17.

“Join us each week to read a little from a book and do a related activity, crafts, snacks, and more,”’ the library website stated.

This month’s book is “The Library of Ever” by Stephen Messer,”



Storytime

Children’s storytime will meet at 10 a.m. on Wednesdays Dec. 11 and 18.

The event includes themed stories, songs and a craft for pre-kindergarten ages. Younger and older siblings are also welcome. The theme on Dec. 11 is winter, while the theme on Dec. 18 is Christmas.

Teenspace

Teenspace will be at 3 p.m. on Wednesdays, Dec. 11 and 18



Lego Club

Legos will be available for building at 4 p.m. in the activity room on Thursdays, Dec. 12 and 19.



Adult Craft

An adult craft activity will be available at 5:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 13.

Participants will make Christmas tree art on a black canvas. Sign up through the website or at the front desk.



Homeschool Tech

Homeschool Tech Tips will be at 10 a.m. Dec. 20. The event will feature technology tips aimed at homeschoolers.



Needlework

Clinch River Needleworkers will meet at 10 a.m. on Saturdays, Dec. 14, 21 and 28.

“The Clinch River Needleworkers will be in our computer lab for a few hours each Saturday and are open to new members. Stop by and say hi and stitch a while,” the library website stated.



Hobby Club

Hobby Club will meet Saturdays at 11 a.m. on Dec. 14 and 28.
