MTSU fall 2024 Dean’s List released

Middle Tennessee State University recently released its Dean List for fall 2024.

To qualify for this distinction, an undergraduate student must maintain a current semester grade-point average of 3.5 or above and earn at least 12 semester hours.

Anderson County students who made the list include:

• Sean Cain, Amber Shelton, Will Beard, Dallas Cole, Colby Holbrook and Camille Elliott of Clinton;

• Avery Thomas, Kelsey Reynolds, Eilidh Hancock, John Harris, Katherine Spencer, Nolan Linkins, Ashley Gaetz, Janashia Henderson, Bailey James, Chris Jordan, Cedric White and Jonah Hano of Oak Ridge.

Founded in 1911 as one of three state normal schools for teacher training, Middle Tennessee State University is one of the oldest and largest undergraduate universities in the state of Tennessee.

Paul named to Western Carolina’s Chancellor’s List



Olivia Paul of Oak Ridge was named to the Western Carolina University fall 2024 Chancellor’s List.

To qualify for the Chancellor’s List, students must earn a GPA of 3.8 or higher while completing a minimum of 12 credit hours.

Students named to the Chancellor’s List are also named to the Dean’s List.

Western Carolina University is in Cullowhee, North Carolina, and is part of the University of North Carolina System.



Samford Univesity releases fall Dean’s List



Samford University recognized 2,230 students named to the Dean’s List for the fall 2024 semester.

Vivian Newton of Oak Ridge has been named to that list.

Samford is a Christian university located in Birmingham, Alabama.



Zolnierczuk named to President’s List



Isa Zolnierczuk from Oak Ridge was named to the Miami University fall 2024 President’s List.

Miami University is in Oxford, Ohio.



Lloyd named to SRU Dean’ List

Jack Lloyd from Oak Ridge has been named to the Dean’s List at Slippery Rock University for the fall 2024 semester.

Slippery Rock University is in Slippery Rock, Pennsylvania.



SNHU announces fall 2024 President’s List



Southern New Hampshire University congratulates the following students on being named to the fall 2024 President’s List.

The fall term ran from September to December.

Honored were:

• Devin Barnette of Briceville;

• Uriel Villalba, Prentice Wright, Felicia Cook and Katie Ray of Clinton;

• Adrian Stokely, Babin Sunar, Laura Van Hall and Amanda Bolton of Oak Ridge;

• Madison Gross of Rocky Top.

Full-time undergraduate students who have earned a minimum grade-point average of 3.7 and above for the reporting term are named to the President’s List.
