March Clinton Library Events

History

A Tennessee history class for adults will meet on Mondays, March 10, 17 and 31.

The course moves county by county through the state.



Tax

American Association of Retired People tax help will be at 9 a.m. on Mondays, March 10 and 24.



Finance

A personal finance class for adults, by Regions Bank, will be held at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, March 24. The topic will be “The Importance of Saving.”



Music and Movement

The Music and Movement activity for children will meet at 10 a.m. Tuesdays, March 11, 18 and 25.



Friends of the Library

Friends of the Library will meet at 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 11.



Needleworkers

Clinch River Needleworkers will meet at 1 p.m. Tuesdays, March 11, 18 and 25, and Saturdays, March 8, 15, 22 and 29, to stitch, crochet, tatt or knit.



Family Storytime

Family Storytime will meet at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, March 5 with the theme “Spring Colors”; March 12 with the theme “Emotions”; March 19 with the theme “St. Patrick’s Day”; and March 26 with the theme “April Fools.”

The events feature stories, songs and a craft for pre-kindergarten children, although younger and older siblings are welcome.



Teenspace

Teenspace will meet at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesdays, March 5, 19 and 26. Every Wednesday, teens can come to the program room, and play games, make videos and hang out with friends.



Lego Club

Legos will be available to build with at 4 p.m. on Thursdays March 6, 13, 20 and 27.



Adult

Crafty Friday

Adult Crafty Friday will be at 5:30 p.m. Fridays, March 7 and 21. The craft will be pressed flower paper mache lanterns. Sign up on the library website’s calendar page at clintonpubliclibrary.org.
